What to Wear:

There is nothing set in stone. You will certainly find the whole gamut at RPC; parishioners can be found in their “Sunday’s Best” whereas others come more casually in jeans and t-shirts. Whatever you have, feel free to come as you are!

Parking:

When coming to Roxbury Presbyterian, street parking is generally used, along Warren and Woodbine Streets. We do ask that you be kind to our neighbors and make sure we do not block any driveways.

There is also a parking lot across the street at the Roxbury Mall. We have been graciously invited to use spaces along the concrete wall for our congregants as well.

Worship Experience:

Our Sunday Morning worship services are a unique blend of our richly rooted traditional hymns and liturgy, mixed with the vibrant energy of contemporary worship in music and song. Roxbury Presbyterian Church has a mixed demographic of worshippers, consisting mainly of Black, African and Caribbean heritage. This diversity is celebrated in every way from dress to worship styles, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Services are typically about 1 hour and 30 minutes long. For us, the sacrament of Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday.

Sunday School and Children’s Church are also available for parents, as well as a Cry Space for parents of young children who may need a little extra room.

There will be a number of greeters, ushers and other leaders around the building if you need help. One thing RPC prides us on is being known as a “church full of love”. If nothing else, we pray that’s what you feel when you visit us!
